Frequently Asked Questions:
What if I have more than 20 people in my party? Should you have more than 20 people in your party there will be an extra charge of $10 per person. Please keep in mind our private party area accommodates up to 20 people. *Spring/Summer changes: This is changed to 30 people included in the party price and $8 per person for Spring/Summer parties.
What if we go over our 3 hour time limit? Your three-hour time limit is for the private party area. We suggest spending 1-1/2 to 2 hours of playtime throughout the farm and 1 to 1-1/2 hours inside the party area for food, cake, presents, and games (if any). If anyone in the party would like to stay longer, that is fine, they will just no longer have use of the private party area since we will be setting up for another party. *Spring/Summer Changes: Due to the farm not being open to the public April - August (aside from our Produce Stand) the party will have to end at the designated time frame.
Do you provide set up and clean up (decorations included)? Our set up will consist of the party area, tables, chairs, and trash cans. You will have 30 minutes before your scheduled party time to decorate the area and 30 minutes after the scheduled party time to take down any decorations, clean up trash, and get presents loaded. *Spring/Summer Changes: We can extend the setup time to an hour before the scheduled party time but you will still have 30 minutes to clean up after the designated party time.
What am I responsible for? You will be responsible for any decorations such as tablecloths, balloons, tableware, party favors, etc. You will also be responsible for providing food, cake, and beverages. Many local areas will deliver as we are in a pretty central location. You can also bring a cooler of your own beverages (no alcohol).
Can I have my party at any time during operating hours? Our hours are 10am - 6pm. With the 4 hours allotted for parties we can only accommodate party times of either 11am or 3pm. Party days and times are first come first serve. *Spring/Summer Parties: Since we are not open to the public the only operating hours are 11am-2pm (10am-11am and 2:00pm-2:30pm for setup/clean up).
What if it rains the day of our scheduled party? Should bad weather occur on your party day and a cancellation is necessary, all money will be refunded. If you choose, we can try our best to reschedule, if there are other party days/time slots available.
Will there be a designated person to run our party? There will be someone to meet you during set up hours to discuss the party with you, however, you can decide what will work best for you and your guests. We do require that adult supervision be provided for all children, at all times.
What if invited children's parents want to attend or bring siblings? That is fine, however, they will have to pay the entrance fee and there may not be room in the designated party area to fit all other guests.
How do I book my party? Contact us through email (myrollingacresfarm@gmail.com) or call Kara (443-532-7891). She will answer any questions and help with scheduling. We ask that you put 1/2 down for a deposit to secure your date and time. The other 1/2 will be due when you arrive for your party.
What if I need to cancel my party? If the party is cancelled with two weeks notice, then your deposit will be refunded and the date will try to be rebooked. Due to limited availability of party dates, if the party is cancelled within the two week time frame, your deposit will not be refunded. However, if the date/time is able to be rebooked, we will contact you and refund all money.
What if all the party dates and times are booked and I would like to schedule a party? We will keep a waiting list for dates and times incase a cancellation occurs. If a cancellation does occur, we will reach out to those on the waiting list in proper order. Also, since we are open 7 days a week, there is always an option of having an evening weekday party, but this must be discussed and planned with the owner. *Spring/Summer Parties: Since only the Produce Stands are open 7 days a week the weekends are pretty much all we have. However, if all weekend days are booked and you can be flexible, we can try to find another option that works best for both parties.
Why isn't there a cost difference between Spring/Summer and Fall parties if some activities (such as corn maze) are not available? *Spring/Summer Parties: The parties in the Spring/Summer months have the added benefit of having a Semi-private party. That means the farm is open to you and two other birthday parties (if other parties are booked that day). That means you could essentially, have the whole farm to yourself. Also, please keep in mind there are still operating cost to consider. We have also lowered the additional per person cost from $10 to $8. We are working on adding more year round activities which should be completed by April 2024.
